Yay More Pictures!!!
The kids at the top of the stairs... the usual torture before we're allowed to open presents.
Aunt Meg and Santa Baby a.k.a. Christian.
Kat, David, and Christian.
And Erik supporing his Tesoro Cross Country Gear.
Ok, so I finally figured out how to get the pictures straight from my camera to my laptop (and I finally have a laptop... John's brother gave me his old one for Christmas). These are all the pictures I was able to weasel out of everyone.

Christmas Questionaire
Wrapping Paper or Gift Bags? - Both. Although this year I was really close to brown paper bags and being done with it!!!!
Real Tree or Artificial? - Fake. If you see the office tree you'll know why. It is rather tilty, which is kind of funny considering that it is in a Chiropractor's office. Maybe it needs to be adjusted?
When Do You Put The Tree Up? - I try to do it right after Thanksgiving. That way I can have it done, and it's something to look at to put me in the Christmas spirit. It also helps me get started with my shopping because it doesn't look right without presents under it.
When Do You Take Your Tree Down? - Well, last year it was about April whe everyone decided that it was definitely time to put it down.
Do You Like Egg Nog? - I can't honestly say that I even know what it tastes like. I have no memory of ever trying it. I know my brother David used to like it though.
Favorite Gift As A Child? - My American Girl Doll "Molly". All of my sisters had one. Julia had "Samantha", Kristen had "Kirsten", I had "Molly" and Meredith had "Felicity". My Cousin Alyssa had "Addy". A little while later Meredith Alyssa and I all got the "Girl of Today" dolls which you can pick to have your same eye color and hair color. That was VERY cool.
Do You Have A Nativity Scene? - I do have one. I didn't take it out this year though because it is packed away in a box that I'm not quite sure where i put it.
Who Is The Hardest Person To Buy For? - Good question. It is definitely a tie. Dad and John because they are boys and seem to get everything that they want/need themselves when they think about it. I feel bad always giving them books or t-shirts.
Worst Christmas Present Ever - Last year I got a small black purse that had WHIPS on it!!!!!! Definitely not cute.
Favorite Chrismas Movie? - Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, Miracle on 34th Street, and It's A Wonderful Life.
When Do You Start Shopping For Christmas? - I started this year in October.
Have You Ever Recycled A Christmas Present? - No, I don't think you can recycle leather.... I put it in the trash.
Favorite Thing To Eat At Christmas? - I'm not gonna lie. Peppermint Ice Cream.
Clear Or Colored Lights On The Tree? - CLEAR!!! I'm sorry but I think that fluorescent colored lights on the tree are very tacky. Remember: You can always put colored ornaments on the tree instead!!!
Travel At Christmas Time Or Stay Home? - Stay home. But a could of years ago John's mom took John and I with her to the Bahamas. It's fun to look back on now, but at the time we had a lot of issues (missing luggage, hotel overbooked.... you get the drift).
Can You Name All Of Santa's Reindeer? - Dasher Dancer Prancer Vixen Comet Cupid Donner Blitzen and Rudolph..... oh yeah, and Olive the other reinder.
Tree Top: Angel or Star? - I have a star because it looks really pretty, and that's what they followed to find Christ.
Open Presents Christmas Eve or Morning? - Morning. I like the mounting anticipation.
Most Annoying Thing About This Time Of Year? - TRAFFIC!!! Both inside the mall, the parking lot, and all over the freeways!!!!! Yuck!
Do You Decorate Your Tree In A Theme? - Um, does blue green and purple count as a theme? That's all I got.
What Do You Leave For Santa? - Cookies and hot chocolate!!! And Rudolph gets either a carrot or an apple on the front porch.
Favorite Thing About Christmas? - Family getting together. Hands down.

Tagged!!!!
I promised I would actually do it. It's not that exciting, but I did it anyway.
25 Years ago: Not even a twinkle in my Mom's eye yet.
20 Years ago: Getting used to being a big sister, giving baby sister Meredith hugs and kisses.
15 Years ago: I was 7 years old. Getting used to having a new brother and enjoying Mrs. Lane's 2nd grade class. She was one of my favorite teachers.
10 Years ago: I was 12 years old and FINALLY got to be in Young Women like Julia and Kristen. I was so excited to be a BeeHive. It was like a right of passage for me. I was also in 7th grade at St. Anne's where I felt like I was making real friends for the first time (I had some touble with teasing in elementary school). I still talk to a couple of the girls from that school.
5 Years Ago: I was 17 years old, almost an "adult" and a Junior at Tesoro High School. Due to some unlucky circumstances I ended up doing 2 Sophomore years of High School. I was currently dating Nick, but a few months later we broke up and I started dating John, who I am still with!!
1 Year Ago: Waging war on the office Christmas decorations. I eventually surrendured. I had done all of my wrapping, and Rosco peed on 2 of the presents (fired!). My roommate Mitsuru had his friend Hideki from Japan living with us for a little while so we were having a blast and were sad to see him go back home. In July, Mitsuru went back to Japan and we miss him very much.
Yesterday: Dad gave me a day off of babysitting so I went back home to vista for the day. I was mortified by the mess that the boys SWEAR they're going to clean up before I get home. John and I went out to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner and went home and watched Shrek 1,2, and 3.
Today: I'm writing this instead of cleaning the house for the extended family like I was supposed to (ok I tried but I can't find the windex ANYWHERE!!!!). Later I'm going to go to the grocery store and buy the snacks that I'm going to enjoy.
5 Snacks I enjoyed: Oatmeal (breakfast), licorice, popcorn, a cookie and some chips (anyone else thinkin' the song "I Like Big Butts"????)
5 Things I Would Do With A Million Dollars: Cry. Buy myself that white Toyota Carolla S that I've been eyeballing. Start my own denim brand (I have a great idea but no fundage). Pay off my student loan. Get my tattoos removed. Take my mom and sisters on vacation for a "Girls Only Getaway" to Hawaii or Thailand.
5 Places I Would Run Away To: Forks, WA. Hawaii. The East Coast somewhere. The Sangveraphunsiri home (John's family). And the Temple when I can.
5 TV Shows I Like: What's TV??????? Just kidding. Ummm. Scrubs. Firends. Ummmm. What Not To Wear. The Real Housewives Of Orange County (just for giggles, not because I actually like the show.. it's completely rediculous). Ummmm. I really like to watch the Disney Origional Movies on TV (like Johnny Tsunami,Xenon and,of course, High School Musical).
5 Things I Hate Doing: Ultrasounding feet. Listening to crabby people. Filling up my gas tank. Getting ready for the day (feels like it takes way too long) but I can't start the day unless I'm showered and dressed. Stopping in the middle of a project to do something else. Urrrggghhhh!!!!
5 Biggest Joys Of The Moment: I'm home alone. It's almost Christmas time! David Kat and Christian, and Meredith and Josh are all coming home this week. I'm the coolest Aunt ever. I'm alive and have an awesome life with the coolest people in it.
I Tag Tracy Pickett!!!!!!

A Christmas Carol
I absolutely love the play "A Christmas Carol". Every year since I can remember, our family would go to see the play on Christmas Eve. I've got it practically memorized, but I still appreciate the moral to the story. It lets us think about how important things like family, charity and love are. I'm really sad because we're not going to see it this year so I'm going to have to rent it.

We Both Went Down Swingin'
I've decided that I'm forever DONE with wrapping presents!!! I was really close to taking the wrapping paper outside and burning it all. I've been going crazy trying to get all of my Christmas shopping done early and getting all the gifts wrapped up nice and pretty. So far, I've had a really bad stiff neck, accompanied with a 2-day headache, 4 papercuts, and today my boss had to fix my back due to the spasming in my mid-back. I think the ribbons finished me off though. I couldn't get them to what I wanted due to a lack of bows (huge tendency to overreact) and almost gave up on the whole thing! But I did find a way to make it look prettier. I found that if you tie something small like a little stalking stuffer or ornament in with ribbon, it looks better than a bow! Now that all the wrapping is done all I have to worry about is the office Christmas tree. Last year was a disaster. I tried to put the lights on the "real" way, by weaving the strand through all of the branches. It took my about 4 hours in which when I got half way through, the third strand of lights shorted out the rest of them and I had to go buy new ones. At the end I gave up and just threw them on. At least my tree at home is tiny, cheap, and practically bare. After all that is done, I'm just going to sit back, relax, and count down the minutes until David, Kat and Christian arrive from Idaho so I can play with the baby. And speaking of arrivals, Logan is due on the 10th so he should be here very soon!!!! I can't wait!

Almost Gave Me A Heart Attack!
I love my job. Working hands-on with patients is one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. Just last week however, right before I was going to take my lunch break, we had a serious scare. My last patient before break is in his mid-60's, kind of overweight, and really tall. I went in to take tell him that he was done icing, and when he sat up he told me that he was feeling kinda nauseous and dizzy. I told him to take his time while I got him some ice water. A few minutes later when I was sitting at my desk in the waiting room, he came out and was about to leave, but had to sit down again because he was still feeling nauseous. After his third attempt to leave the office, I practically forced him back into a treatment room and explained to him that Dr. Fox ("Howie") wanted to see him one more time before he left. I'm glad I didn't let him leave. He was nauseous, dizzy, clammy, and his blood pressure was 190/100!!!!! Anyone else thinking "heart attack"??? The patient STILL wanted to drive himself, which was not an option, and he refused to take an ambulance, so Howie drove him to the ER himself. Later that day his daughter called from the hospital to give us updates. His blood pressure went up to 198/100. The second time she called she let me know that he was diabetic and his blood sugar was 358!!!!! The third time she called she asked me "His blood pressure is 200/101, is that anything I should be worried about?" Um, yeah. This guy was going to go into a diabetic coma. I was terrified for him. That's such a scary thing to witness. This morning the daughter came into our office and let me know that his blood pressure and blood sugar were almost back to normal, and he was feeling a lot better. I'm so glad that we didn't let him leave the office by himself. Who knows what could have happened if we let him get back on the freeway? It just goes to show that even the smallest things that you may not even notice at first, could go horribly wrong. I definitely feel like my heavenly father had a major part in this. I never would have thought to keep him in the office longer, because he never told me he was diabetic, or that his blood pressure was through the roof. A lot of times you can feel sick after an adjustment or massage from all of the toxins being released for you body to get rid of. It's not entirely uncommon for some patients to leave the office a little woozy. Yes, I definitely know that the spirit was prompting me to realize that something was really wrong with him.

Whoops!!!
I finished my last post pretty quickly, and I have to say that I'm pretty embarassed that I forgot to mention a couple of things!!!
I'm greatful for my siblings' offspring. My nephew Christian is super cute and is such a blessing to my family. I can't wait to see him again. And I am absolutely going crazy waiting for Logan to be born. He really needs to hurry up! This is one of the best years of my life because I get 2 nephews!!!!
I am also so very greatful for my Cousins!!!! Shayla is one of the sweetest people I know. And no matter how hard it is for her sometimes, she alwasys has a smile on her face (even when we're trying to put together a rediculously difficult puzzle of New York) and she's always happy to be hanging out with me (even though I'm really boring). And Betsy always finds time to help me out with my hair, and she has never complained to me even when we're playing with hair dye at 12:00 at night. We are the goofiest friends in the world and I love our liddle ADD moments together. I have 20-something more cousins, and all of them are awesome, but there's no way in the world I'm going to be able to put that all into one post.
AND I am so greatful for my Boyfriend John's family. The Sangveraphunsiri (not a typo) Family is the best family ever. His dad Vic is always really helpful with all kinds of things from computers to the best way to wax your car. He even helped me put the tailgate back onto my truck after it fell off (yes, it FELL OFF). John's mom Yukari is so loving and kind and is one of the smartest women I know. We talk about all sorts of things, she always invites me over to her home, and she's even taken me on vacation with her!!! John's brother Ken is always out to have fun. Vegas, Laughlin, LA, his backyard, if he's there it's gonna be fun. He and his girlfriend Krisin are a couple of the nicest people, who care about their friends, and are always sure to have a good time. Ken cares so much about his brother and is always there for him, to support him and give him advice, and watch his back. And I can't forget to metion that his extended family is great too. His cousins are friends to me too, and his grandparents treat me like I am a member of their family. I've never met a family that was so envolved with each other, andcared so much for eachother, as well as their significant others. Much love to you!!!!!

Top 10 Things I'm Thankful For
1 - My Parents : I could not have been sent to 2 more loving parents. They are the coolest people I know, and they are always there to give me love and support. My mom ALWAYS has the answer to all of my questions (and it's not always "Because I'm the mom"). And my dad is a huge sucker for his kids, even if he pretends not to be. He always calls me to say "what's up" and wats to take me out to dinner or the movies.
2 - My Siblings : Growing up with a ton of siblings means that no matter who you are fighting with, you always have a friend. I love my siblings to death and can't wait till we all live closer to each other one day.
3 - My Boyfriend : What a cool guy. He treats me like the queen. He always wants to take me out to dinner or some place nice, or if we're both too tired, he'll snuggle and watch tv with me. And he's always been there for me when I've been sick (all 1 million times this year!)
4 - My Puppy : He's like my baby. He's cute, he's cuddly, and he always licks my face, whick is kinda gross, but it's the thought that counts, right?
5 - My In-Laws : You guys are great! You make my sisters and brother happy, and that makes me happy. I couldn't ask for two more awesome brothers in law, or a more adorable and loving sister in law. I love you guys!
6 - My "Family of Friends" : Ok Palm Springs Clan and the Duffys. I always look forward to spending time with the families, whether it's in Palm Springs, one of our many Bridal or Baby showers, or at the Duffy's cabin. You guys always know how to have fun!!!!
7 - My Best Buddy and the Cox/Smith family :Allison is my best buddy and her daughter Jayden is absolutely the cutest little girl and I love them so much. Linda and Don (Allie's parents) are so amazing, and are so nice and hospitable to me. I love them berry much.
8 - My Job : I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have the job that I have now (hopefully not still at In-N-Out). I love working in my office and my patients are AWESOME!
9 - My Boss : Yeah, he's cool. And his family is pretty exciting too. I guess we'll keep him! :)
10 - YOU!

Back in the swing of things
I know you must think I am the worst blogger now. I DO have an excuse though. As of course everyone knows, California was hit with the fires causing the biggest evacuation in California history!!! The fires got way too close to our apartment for comfort, but we were not close enough to be evacuated (thank goodness). That still did not stop me from packing up half my belongings and shipping Rosco off to John's mom Yukari's house - which I'm sure he didn't mind because his best buddy Mo lives there (another weenie dog)! Thankfully the fires left us alone and we were able to put all of our things back where they belong, but nothing seems to work right anymore!!! The tap water is getting gross and the batteries in everything are dying and our smoke alarm decided to go off! I would have posted earlier, but the keyboard for our computer is dead (I'm posting from work.... sshhhhhh). But I promise after I get some Wicked Awesome pictures of tomorrow (my whole office is dressing up, and the one person who said they weren't going to I threatened with the pirate costume, which is nowhere near inconspicuous) for everyone. I'll be the one dressed as the girl Jedi. That's all for now. Got to go back to work!!!

Mitsuru
I really miss my old Roommate Mitsuru. He came here a couple of years ago from Japan to study abroad at Mira Costa College. Lucky for us, John met him through a friend at the school, and they became great surf buddies, and he eventually moved in with us. We had such a great time and learned so much from each other - we even called him Rosco's uncle. Now that he moved back it is just not the same. Although from all of the pictures of Japan that he has sent, I don't blame him for wanting to go back!!! It's beautiful there! And I'm sure his girlfriend missed him a lot too! Her name is Rika, and I got to get to know her when she flew out to the US to visit him. She's so nice, I hardly noticed that we didn't even speak the same language! His friend Hideki was the same way. I could have sworn that I had conversations with him without a translator! I'll have to get some pictures of him to put up on my blog.
Mitsuru and Rika
I love the architecture and the scenery.

Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired
Just spent the weekend with Dad, Erik, and my boyfriend John. It was so much fun. We got a rental car and drove to Las Vegas for the BYU vs. UNLV game. Sorry for the language, but those Rebels got SPANKED! Very good game. I'm not quite sure of the final score - by the end of the game my very bad cold went from very bad to worse (This will be about the 7th time I've been sick this year, including my little bout with bronchitis in May). After that we all went out to a movie, and then back to the hotel for ice cream! By the end of the night my cold was terrible, I couldn't breathe and I was coughing about every 3 seconds, so my dad gave me this drink stuff I think was called ecanacia (can't spell it). It was like drinking liquid celery and watered-down pee. Ick! Don't ever drink stuff my dad gives you unless it's a life-or-death situation. I think I'll stick to NyQuil and knocking myself out till the cold has passed. Eww. On the other hand, I'm still alive - and coughing - and I still had so much fun hangin' out with the boys.

Snuggle Bug
Rosco has a morning "potty system" that he has come to understand quite well. When I have to wake up early, he gets to sleep in until I'm done taking a shower and getting dressed (he sleeps in my bed, completely under ALL of the sheets/comforter). He's usually awake by the time I get out of the shower and tries to rush me by pawing at the door letting me know "I gotta go!" But the other morning I got out of the shower and he was still just laying there so warm and cozy. Just poking his head out from under his "tunnel" (dachshunds love to burrow) and watching me. I had to pull him out to make him go to the bathroom!! What a lazy bum! He was so cute I had to take a picture.

Conference Weekend
Last weekend we went to Salt Lake for Conference and for Baby Christian's blessing. I was so excited because I was FINALLY going to be able to see my nephew. He's so beautiful. My mom accused me of being a "Baby Hog"... I don't know why. These are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend.
Can you tell that he's a Peterson??? If you look
at David's baby pictures there's some with that
exact expression.
I love the "smush face"
This one's for you Uncle Doug.
One day we'll actually get the WHOLE family.
It may be difficult, but I promise it will be done!
He looks like an angel. My mom made this blessing
gown in the late '70's and all of her babies wore it, and
now we're continuing the tradition with the grandbabies.
